This weeks stories & pics

Christina Hendricks
Christina Hendricks invites you to a private tasting.

Christina Hendricks loved her own ginger role in Ginger And Rosa (movies.uk.msn.com).

Despite her famous shock of red hair, she's not the titular Ginger in Sally Potter's Ginger and Rosa

But displayed plenty of titular at the Johnnie Walker private tasting (hawtcelebs.com).

Kim Kardashian finally admits to Kanye style mishap (dailymail.co.uk) …

And wasn't wearing underwear here! (hotcelebshome.com).

And if you're thinking she's got a thong on under there, a front view of some see-thru smooth pussy might change your mind!

"It's empowering. It's p**** power!" she told Chelsea Handler. You go for it, girl; a free vagina is a happy vagina!

Christina only agreed to go on the show if Chelsea walked out onstage with no pants. You can download the interview with Chelsey Handler here.

Miley Cyrus went pantless in Halloween Snap (uk.omg.yahoo.com).

Britney Spears was in grip of amphetamine addiction Sam Lutfi claims in court (dailymail.co.uk).

Ex manager and bodyguard Lutfi, who is seeking a portion of the singer's profits, claims he was made a scapegoat for the singer's mental breakdown back in 2008, and that she shaved her head to beat drug tests he had imposed.

Hmmm. Who sounds the user there?

For fans of Ms. Spear's ample thighs, here's Britney at the We Will Always Love You Whitney Houston Grammy event in Los Angeles (hawtcelebs.com) and …

She got caught short and so Britney Spears peed her sweatpants! (hawtcelebs.com).

Oops! She did it again I suppose.

It seems the Love Sponge got his jollies filming and sharing Hulk Hogan and others (thesuperficial.com).

Heather Clem the now-ex-wife of Florida shock jock Bubba The Love Sponge who secretly filmed a sex tape with Hulk Hogan at Bubba's request probably did the same thing with other celebrities.

This promted Hulk, no doubt in a fit of Hulkamania, to sue the Sponge & Gawker for $100 million, which then forced fellow shock-jock Howard Stern—a man I'm sure you'd trust not to take and broadcast secret films of you humping your ex while expressing admiration for the canopy bed—to wade out to the Sponge's defence (uk.omg.yahoo.com).

Rebuffed by Playboy for "enhancements", Courtney Stodden drags dad Doug to straight to video examination by Hollywood plastic surgeon to "prove" she's not used him no implants. (dailymail.co.uk).

R.I.P. Emmanuelle's Sylvia Kristel (egotastic.com).

I was way too young to catch that first time around, but VHS kept Emmanuelle coming going when I was a teenager.

Arts, tech. & funnies

Art thieves take seven masterpieces (news.uk.msn.com).

Images of Rotterdam art heist

Why steal such valuable, but so well known works of art? Is it for some ultra-wealthy private collector? Well, probably not.

Some are stolen by low-level criminals to gain underworld prestige who quickly dispose of the works, often for a fraction of their value, but sometimes the heists are perpetrated by members of organised gangs who use the paintings as collateral or bartering chips in underworld deals involving drugs, forged documents and weapons.

Stealing great art not all it's painted to be (theage.com.au).

Pussy Riot named among most important contemporary art figures (telegraph.co.uk).

Art Review said the band earned their place "art has more than ever become a space for protest". Not for those colourful balaclavas then.

Related stories:

Madonna Supports "Pussy Riot" in Moscow (Pick of the Week, 14th August).

Theresa May blocks extradition of UFO-hunting hacker Gary McKinnon (wired.co.uk).

Certainly the best news to read last week. I wonder if finally shipping off Abu hook-hands paved the way for that?

Ada Lovelace Day celebrates female scientists (bbc.co.uk).

Ada, like her father Lord Byron, led an adventurous though not as well travelled life which flirted with scandal which did not hamper the use of her formidable mathamatical ability to become the worlds first "computer programmer".

A true pioneer in all respects. Hooray for exciting, intelligent women!

Interested in finding out more about Ada and her legacy? You may find this program interesting (In Our Time, BBC Radio 4).
