“The Authority For Television On Demand (ATVOD) said Mistress Megara Furie and Mistress R’ea published smutty movies which breached its guidelines on ‘extreme content’. Ms Furie quickly pulled down the offending content, but Mistress R’eal has so far failed to respond and could face a massive £10,000 fine.”
Quickly pulled down but failed to respond? Sounds like the balls are still in her court then. No, I don’t get it either, nor do I wanna. :)

“Two men face prison sentences in the US after they developed an app that trawls through people’s private photo albums looking for naked selfies. … What the two men did was develop an app, which they called Photofucket, that scanned through the private libraries of people on Photobucket. The software scoured private photo albums for bare skin, in a practice known as ‘FUSKING’. This app was able to circumvent the privacy settings at Photobucket.com, and accessed and copied users private and password protected information, images and videos. Essentially, the suspects stole naked pictures from unsuspecting women.”
“FUSKING”. Yikes! And unless they did indeed ensure their app’s algorithm attempted to check the gender, I’m sure plenty of unsuspecting men too just like in the accompanying illustrated mug shot.
“They then allegedly sold passwords and access to Photofucket, to allow customers to view the images and videos on the Internet.”
And there’s the—not that sorta—rub; there was certainly a social media led sea change with regards the ethics of viewing stolen nudie snaps with last years’ “The Fappening” and the soon after “The Snappering” but likely not because of the real currency they are for the perpetrators.
For sure, it was once that way with malware back when that more meant virus than trojan horse; a joker in his or her bedroom somewhere coding something for a laugh to wipe your drive was bad enough but generally came to light soon rather than later so that said laugh could be had whereas malware today generally has the intention of stealing funds or account through which to promote fund making schemes meaning all the more complexity and silent running to keep out of sight.
Note that a hard to guess password as universally recommended nowadays and initially implicitly blamed for those revealed in The Fappening would have been immaterial as the app circumvented the privacy settings at Photobucket to access.
