Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift bang booty over VMA video.

“I’ve done nothing but love & support you”: Taylor Swift hits back at Nicki Minaj after rapper hints that Bad Blood got VMA nod because of singer’s “slim body type” (dailymail.co.uk).

Nicki Minaj—Spank My Booty
“Among [Nicki’s] many tweets blasting MTV, the 32-year-old said: ‘If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year’ … Taylor wasted no time in responding to the Starships hit-maker saying, ‘I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.’”
Maybe one of the men took your slot

Ouch! A booty bangin’ contest against Nicki must surely be a forlorn hope were it not for the fact that, well, Taylor Swift gets to decide which shade of pink all are to wear on Wednesday now and her more modest booty surely projects a force field equal to Fantastic Four’s Sue Storm Richards.

This of course centers around Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” ft. Kendrick Lamar and a whole host of young, Matrix-esque kung-fu fightin’ slim fashion and pop diva lovelies getting a nomination septuple for Video of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Direction, Best Editing and Best Visual Effects, while Nicki’s bedunk meme-inspiring “Anaconda” was nominated for Best Female Video and Best Hip Hop Video, but not… well especially not Best Choreography:

“If she was a different ‘kind’ of artist, the Anaconda video featuring scantily-glad girls and clenching buttocks would have received nominations, for choreography and, more importantly, for the awards show’s most prestigious gong.”
Taylor Swift—Another year, another suspect lookin’ award

Because social media had collectively been “clenching buttocks” in myriad parody:

“Minaj also pointed out that Ellen DeGeneres had spoofed the video full of scantily clad dancers on her TV chat show and that it has been viewed almost half a million times on Vevo.”

Where as only a few more at home at Cosplay convention attempted to parody Swift’s “Bad Blood”.

The upshot though was that it allowed all with a gripe to step in and take a swing.

Katy Perry has (seemingly) entered the Taylor Swift-Nicki Minaj argument (cnn.com).

“Katy Perry descended upon the Taylor Swift-Nicki Minaj Twitter exchange with a scalding-hot message of her own. …”

With Swift’s “Bad Blood” suggestedly about feuding with another pop star female widely presumed to be her, admonishing:

“Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman….”

And not giving her super powers in the video, although undoubtedly that prodigious bust must afford a prestigious degree of frontal protection, and I seem to remember she at one time could squirt cream from it.

For sure, it’s choreography clenching buttocks musical break time.

Updates/Follow Ups

No more bad blood between Taylor and Nicki:

Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj, 2015 MTV Music Video Awards

Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift perform together at MTV VMAs (msn.com).

“Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift buried the beef between the singers by joining forces onstage at the MTV Video Music Awards. After Minaj entertained the audience at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with her upbeat ‘Trini Dem Girls,’ Swift joined the rapper during her performance of the ‘The Night Is Still Young.’”

So I guess the “beef” was sufficiently cooked, but it’s still red raw and bloody between Nicki and Miley:

Miley Cyrus—trashy tongue

Miley Cyrus dons series of revealing outfits, as she makes drug references and continues Nicki Minaj feud during VMAs hosting stint (huffingtonpost.co.uk).

“Miley’s public spat with Nicki Minaj rumbled on, as the pair came to blows as the rapper picked up the award for Best Hip Hop video. They have been at odds after Miley hit out at Nicki in an interview, after she went on a massive Twitter rant for not being nominated for Video Of The Year, which also saw her embroiled in a row with Taylor Swift.

Towards the end of her speech, Nicki turned around and branded her rival a ‘b****’. ‘And now back to this b**** that had a lot to say to me in the press. What’s good?’ she said.

“Trying to play things down, Miley replied: ‘We are all in this industry, we all do interviews and we all know how they manipulate s***. Nicki congratulations.’”

Outclassed in size at least by Nicki’s mammoth bedunk in the booty bangin’ dept. will Miley be forced to bring out the “iconic” VMAs foam finger? (Pick of the Week 5th Sept. 2013).

Miley Cyrus brings her rainbow rockets to the “Bad Blood” fight.

Miley & Stella—strap on, strap in

Miley Cyrus on Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood video: “That’s suppose to be a good example?” (heatworld.com).

“In a recent interview with Marie Claire, the Wrecking Ball singer commented on the video, saying: ‘I don’t get the violence revenge thing. That’s supposed to be a good example?’ … ‘And I’m a bad role model because I’m running around with my titties out? I’m not sure how titties are worse than guns.’”

24th July 2015

Taylor Swift apologizes to Nicki Minaj for “missing the point” (huffingtonpost.com).

“On Thursday, after Taylor Swift got her first taste of what it feels like to be on the wrong side of the Internet for half a second, the pop star apologized for starting drama with Nicki Minaj over Twitter on Tuesday.”
I missed the point…
Vintage, so adorable
