“It is essential that these women know I hear them and that I deeply apologize for my inappropriate behavior. I am greatly embarrassed. I have behaved insensitively at times, and I accept responsibility for that, though I do not believe that all of these allegations are accurate.”
Which was enough for PBS and Bloomberg LP immediately suspended distribution of the Charlie Rose show and CBS throwing him under the bus with suspension as it looked into the matter too.

Which, along with a few more names I caught and likely several more I didn’t which in the “cavalcade of allegation” of The Weinstein” effect phenomenon may—society and especially social media being a fickle, novelty driven thing—alas reverse the #MeToo “tipping point for societal treatment of sexual misconduct” with USA Today expressing “doubt that the trend of public opinion would hold, citing open, public cases without consequential retribution: R. Kelly, Bill Cosby, former President Bill Clinton, and President Donald Trump.” (Wikipedia) as suggested her regards the apathetic “witch hunt” backlash with Knacker’s Yards Yewtree.
