Whatever’s on my mind really.

A peek at illustration inspiring celebrity sexiness, quirky news stories from inherently pornified pop culture, tips, sketchbook and work in progress, reviews and other things of interest; whatever’s on my mind really—which more fool you if you ever take that seriously.

Latest Picks is a sort of mini-blog for daily thoughts and picks. Longer articles, stories & sketches are found in the full-size blog, where indeed Latest Picks are moved when updates to a story make it too large.

Note: Both Latest Picks and Blog are to be retired at the end of September, although both will remain available indefinitely as an archived part of the site. No further updates to past stories will be made.

“Work for your dole” plan wins support (news.uk.msn.com, Link dead).

More than 1,700 people apply for just EIGHT jobs at Costa Coffee shop (independent.co.uk).

Perhaps they could create paid jobs to do said community service if the intention was not to pander to potential UKIP-leaning voters by demeaning and stigmatising the unemployable. *GASP* Could it really be the case that in our population-exploding country/world there are just more people than there are jobs? Or does idea fall foul of the Lump of labour fallacy? (Wikipedia). Or is it just that while employers would rather pay whoever is prepared to work for lowest wage and look on “immigrants” as a profit windfall the Department of Work and Pensions perhaps see’s a populist way of getting what used to employ people at councils for done even cheaper?
