Taylor Swift posts APOLOGY letter from Katy Perry where the Roar singer says she’s ‘deeply sorry’ after SIX YEAR feud (dailymail.co.uk).
The note posted on social media yesterday.
It was difficult to see what Katy wrote but it looks like it said, “I’ve being doing some reflecting on our miscommunications and though feelings between us .... would to clear the air ...deeply sorry for.”
Coming a year after Perry said she wished to “finish” their feud and despite the track “Swish Swish” released within that year self-admittedly containing a sly dig at Swift (thesun.co.uk, Aug. 2017) make her learn “the law of cause and effect” for Taylor’s believed feud referencing “Bad Blood”.
But with Taylor about to embark on her Reputation stadium world tour after with her album having been the best selling album of 2017 (forbes.com, Jan. 2018) while Katy’s Witness was regarded somewhat as one of the biggest musical flops of 2017 (forbes.com, Jan. 2017) perhaps it’s an attempt to cut her losses and perhaps inducted herself into TayTay’s girl squad.
For those elder celeb fans that truly are just more into looking at the pictures with their pants down while forgoing the gossip part as inconsequential or just what spoilt snowflakes (urbandictionary.com) with no measure of those real world issues—such as hemorrhoids—that they know better, the root of the feud was of course Taylor claiming Katy stole stole three of her backing dancers from her Red tour in 2012 back when she was still singing country while still to selling-out arenas.

But was it all giving Taylor’s Reputation-era serpentine lamia a chance to strike, as over-sharing on social media—sometimes intentionally—often does:
BAD BLOOD (AGAIN): Katy Perry upset after Taylor Swift revealed her apology letter and made it look like she’s taking all the blame for feud (thesun.co.uk).
Insiders tell The Sun Online that Katy was “surprised” to see her hand written message to Taylor shared online as they hadn’t discussed the letter going public.
“Katy expected that Taylor would post something about it,” a friend told The Sun Online. “But she didn’t expect the actual letter to go on social,” says her friend.
Seemingly TayTay, who Katy once referenced as Mean Girls character “Regina George in sheep’s clothing”, filming herself opening the gift containing the letter from Katy on the opening night of her sold-out Reputation tour (Latest Picks 9th May 2018) while purring—or hissing—“I just got to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch. This means so much to me.”
